Knowledge is Power! That one phrase is what’s behind the creation of The Great American Tea Party Game. Over the past few years, I witnessed the reemergence of Americans of all ages, from all states, seeking to be active in American politics, many for the first time in their lives. The result - the evolution of a national, grass roots, American Tea Party Movement. I also saw firsthand, that many citizens, while very concerned about how their country was changing for the worse, did not have knowledge or a command of the basic facts about their government. Whether it is an awareness of how many representatives make up the U.S. House of Representatives or gaining a firm understanding on the amendments that make up our Constitution, I found a void in people’s command of the facts.       To fill that void and to empower Americans of all ages, I designed and created The Great American Tea Party Game. The game allows friends and family to gather around the table again in a fun and engaging environment, to learn about politics, their government, the Constitution, earmarks and more. And it has worked!       In the initial three month roll out of The Great American Tea Party Game (Manufactured in the U.S.A.), Americans, Coast to Coast, have played the game, parents, children, grandparents, friends and Tea Party Americans alike.

The game is much like Trivial Pursuit, in that players must answer questions from five categories, covering 300 questions. Once a player has answered one question right from each category (including The Constitution, Earmarks, Republican and Democratic historical figures and Monuments, Memorials and Agencies), and have also accumulated the greatest number of cards, he or she has qualified and is “locked in” to roll for the White House, become President of the United States and WIN the game.       In our twin goal to empower Americans to become informed citizens and to get The Great American Tea Party Game on kitchen tables in as many households as possible, we have just rolled out national pricing, reducing the price of the game to $19.95 plus S&H (less than the price of two movie tickets!).       We have also spruced up the website, adding some fun pages including Tea Party Humor, Tea Party Trivia and more.
